These Terms of Service apply to your use of the MountainShred website and purchases from our online store. “We”, “us” and “our” refer to the business operating MountainShred, identified in the Contact & Company Information section below.

Orders & Contract Formation

To place an order, select your products, enter your contact and delivery details, choose an available payment method and complete checkout. You can review and correct your details and cart before submitting your order. Please provide accurate information and use a payment method you are authorised to use.

By submitting your order using the payment button, you agree to pay the total displayed at checkout. Your purchase contract is formed when you receive our order confirmation email.

The contract is concluded in English. You can save or print these Terms before ordering. We keep an electronic record of your order, and you can request a copy of your order details and the terms applicable to your purchase by contacting us.

Prices & Payment

Prices include taxes that must legally be included in the displayed price. The currency, applicable discounts, available payment methods and total payable to MountainShred are shown before you place your order.

Any import duties, taxes or clearance charges payable separately by you will be disclosed before purchase, including a warning where they cannot reasonably be calculated in advance. Charges that we are legally required to bear remain our responsibility.

Prices and promotions may change for future purchases. We will not increase the price of an accepted order without your agreement.

Product Information & Availability

We aim to describe and display our products accurately. Colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen settings. This does not affect your right to receive products that match their description.

If a stock issue, pricing error or other problem affects your order, we will contact you to explain the available options. We will not substitute a product or charge a corrected price without your agreement. If we cannot fulfil your order, we will promptly refund the amount paid for the undelivered items through your original payment method, without affecting your other statutory rights.

Shipping, Cancellations & Returns

Our Shipping Policy explains delivery destinations, delivery estimates, tracking and shipping arrangements. Our Return & Refund Policy explains how to request a return, where products must be returned, applicable return costs and refund arrangements. These policies form part of your purchase terms.

You may request cancellation within six hours of placing your order as described in our Shipping Policy. After this period, we may be unable to stop dispatch. This operational deadline does not limit your statutory withdrawal or cancellation rights.

Legal Guarantees & Liability

Our products are covered by applicable legal guarantees. EU consumers benefit from a legal guarantee of at least two years for goods that do not conform to the contract; national law may provide longer protection.

If an item is faulty, damaged on arrival or incorrectly supplied, contact us with your order number and, where possible, photographs of the issue. We will assess the problem and provide the repair, replacement, price reduction or refund required by applicable law. Your rights concerning faulty goods are separate from the change-of-mind return period.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, injury caused by negligence, defective products or any other liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Website Use & Intellectual Property

You must use our website lawfully. Do not place fraudulent orders, attempt unauthorised access, introduce harmful software or interfere with the website or other users.

Website text, images, logos and designs may be protected by intellectual property rights belonging to us or their respective rights holders. Commercial reproduction or use requires the relevant rights holder’s permission unless otherwise permitted by law.

Personal Information

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information. Placing an order does not, by itself, constitute consent to optional marketing communications.

Changes, Applicable Law & Disputes

The versions of these Terms and our purchase policies made available when you place your order apply to that purchase. Later changes apply to future purchases and do not change an existing contract unless you agree or the change is required by law.

These Terms are governed by Belgian law. This choice does not remove mandatory consumer protections applicable in your country of residence or restrict your right to bring proceedings before any court available to you under applicable law.

If a provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply where the contract can lawfully continue without it.
